Alex Trembley: I’m not sure what to say about TWB that hasn’t been said in the hundreds of positive reviews before me. If you purchase a cake here, prepare to be blown away by the love and detail added to it. The staff is incredible and they will 100% work with you to support your budget and still produce something amazing. This is a small business worth supporting even in difficult financial times.Parking: Street parking is available and it’s usually pretty chillKid-friendliness: The cakes they produce are meant for everyone, including kids!
Leslie Lorentzen: Thirsty Whale was who we went with for our wedding cake. The tasting box was phenomenal. Only wish is that we could have met with someone about the design of our cake - we did send them photos for inspiration and it turned out really well! We only had a bite of the cake ourselves as we were busy running around, but I heard from others that the flavor and texture were great! A good experience and we loved working with Thirsty Whale!

Andrew Voight: Probably the best donuts that we have had in the twin cities, hands down. My wife and I were looking for a new shop to try that we’d never been to before, and we saw this place had some pretty good reviews, and they are 100% deserved. The gentleman behind the counter that helped us was genuinely excited to have us in their shop, and about their products. He walked us through every donut they had, and gave us his recommendations. There was also a donut that they were “testing out” that had a pineapple filling that was extraordinary. It was topped with a mango icing and white chocolate flakes. Keep working on that, because that pineapple filling needs to be featured in a donut for sure. I’ll be back on a monthly cadence for the maple bacon donut, because the filling inside of that thing just might possibly be the key to world peace. Great bakery.
Nope Nadda: I had heard about these guys for months at least 6 months. So then I finally was going to swing by and they were closed permanently!! And I don't know how I found out that someone saved the day but as soon as I could I went in there to try them out finally... Turns out I AM a donut guy. I was just waiting for someone to make a key lime pie donut and they did it so diabetes here I come!

Julie Lo: and upon checking the receipt, I noticed I was charged incorrectly. I was charged 20 glazed and 10 frosted donuts. Worked out for me because the glazed was cheaper than the frosted and it basically covered my missing donut anyways . Despite this, the donuts are really good, but the service was disappointing.

Upon exiting the establishment, an endearing character approached me, “M..milky White, is that you..?” a smile wiped itself across my face, a familiar friend indeed! BUT……. To my absolute dismay, her head was missing! I looked around, completely bewitched… SHWOP! A rock hard object came soaring towards my face. On the floor I dropped covered in blood, “oh providence my milky white!”. Michelle Benson: Rebecca's European inspired pastries are addicting and luscious. They are not with sugary frostings or artificial flavors but home whipped cream frostings and real fresh fruit folded into layer cakes. The cannoli's are filled with slightly tart and sweet filling dipped in chocolate. My favorite is the Millefoglie, a flaky puff pastry layered with a rich whipped cream that is indescribable! There are too many creations to list but I guarantee, you WILL not find anyplace like Rebecca's.

And the cake itself is DELICIOUS - we always get a ton of compliments!

Then instructed via phone to go behind the bakery counter and serve myself. All this to then pay the same price as I would in a full service/friendly bakery. Sarah Mendoza-Shelton: I am very picky about my baked goods, and I have now found my favorite bakery in the twin cities! Cinnamon roll texture was just right, fluffy yet substantial, and the sweetness was perfect. I usually scrape off most of the frosting on cinnamon rolls because it's too sweet. Not the case with these babies! Savory scone was flavorful and texture was perfect, light and slightly crummy without being dried out. Pumpkin scone was delicious. Polish roll was a pleasant surprise with perfectly spiced peppery filling. Nom nom nom!
