Palmer's Bar: what do users think?

Brian Wene: Palmer's is a great place for live music because from anywhere in the bar you can easily see the band onstage. Drinks are not terribly expensive and the bartenders are very nice and the live music is always great! I highly suggest giving Palmer's Bar a visit. You will not be disappointed and you will be planning your return.Enjoy!Dietary restrictions: Items fitting certain dietary restrictions are available.Kid-friendliness: All ages events are common here.Wheelchair accessibility: The bar is accessible to those in a wheelchair.

Nick Hook: Palmers Bar consistently manifests that rare mix of high-end, quality ingredients, creative mixology, attentive, knowledgeable wait staff and quietly-upscale atmosphere. All these elements work together seamlessly to ensure each Palmers patron's experience is an understated, singular joy.Vegetarian options: Panko-encrusted yam brisketKid-friendliness: The ball pit was hygenic and fun!!

Bill Marshall: In a really bad area DON'T GO AT NIGHT UNLESS YOU WANT GET ROBBED WHICH IS A GOOD CHANCE IT'S A NO-GO ZONE IF YOU'RE SMART 🤓

Damon Clare: It's a vibe

Drake Friesen: Great local music spot!

d Davis: A bar like PALMERS represents what a bar/tavern should be like. All sorts of characters come and go. A teacher, a parent, students, retirees, blue collar folks, criminals, republicans, future criminals, democrats, alcoholics, recovering this or thats, white, black, brown and other. It’s about sipping a drink and talking with whom ever is on a barstool close by. Sharing stories and learning some stuff and most likely you’ll have another just to stay a little longer. A lively patio out back that gets more interesting into the night. Eclectic and diverse live music all year round. I won’t call it a dive bar and it’s not quite a club if anything people come here cause they need a little piece of love.

Hell's Kitchen Inc.: what do users think?

Jalen Bell: So when I walked past this place, my first thought was Gordon Ramsey’s famous tv show. Turns out they’re a local business, no affiliation. The burger was absolutely fantastic! Well seasoned, temperature just right, and it had bacon and tangy sauce that was similar to 1000 island. Bonus: They branded the bun with the logo which I thought was cool. Ordered cheesecake for dessert. A bit pricy but well worth the quality of food. I’d def eat here again when I’m in town.

Gina M: Mariann was the BEST!! This was our 1st time here and she was so nice and patient.Be careful when you bite into the inferno burger!! The cheese went everywhere 😭 Good burger though.Warm Greens Grain bowl with Mojo pork added. Walleye bites for an appetizer and a peanut butter cup, ice cream and a complimentary brownie from the staff. They even have a photo booth. We had a great time here.

Nancy Anderson: Great experience. The mimosa bar and the bloody mary bar was really fun and very good. The food was amazingParking: Ramp was easy to access the elevator right to Hell's Kitchen

Stephanie Hodges: We held our sellers dinner here for approx 35 people for a private event, using the far side pub. Not only was the atmosphere amazing the food and the staff and the ease of booking and follow up was amazing. I received so many thank yous and this was amazing and the perfect set up, food and drinks and Vanessa and her team were perfect! Need a place for your company/team outing? This was it!

SHARESHA GREEN: Atmosphere: 5/5

Natalie Peterson: Had the fish & chips and my friend got the ham & pear crisp sandwich, we both had garlic Parmesan fries and shared the brownie dessert. SO. GOOD.Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten-free options on the menu!

George Waggoner: Poutine with bison was excellent.

Hodges Bend: what do users think?

Alec Steers: Great curated cocktail list, good wine with knowledgeable bartenders. The small plates are delicious as well. Perfect spot for a date night nightcap or happy hour.

Tracy White: We always enjoy dining at Hodges Bend. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, great food!

Jon Vick: , great cocktails, had awesome live music the night we were in. Completely unexpected in this neighborhood, totally great.

Ameet: Top notch. Amazing experimental food and drinks with a twist. Great layout and service too. On a clear day you can sit on the patio. Easy to get to and from by light rail makes this a total winner. The cubicles are a good way to gather in the Covid era. The bottled chandeliers are a great touch to the decor. Go! Enjoy!

Katherine Robison: We had the best experience here. The staff was super kind, the drinks were great and reasonably priced, and the food was awesome. The whipped pimento cheese was so good, we ordered it twice!

Kristin Johnson: This place is my go-to cocktail bar. The drinks, atmosphere, and staff are all fantastic!

Sekiplaceallahuyaayei Koomei: Good place to have fun

Rohan D: Simply excellent food for reasonable prices. Only issue is there is only street parking and a paid lot.

Jackie R: Love this place! Always inviting, relaxing, amazing food and drinks!

Kristi Erickson: Excellent atmosphere, service, food & Sommelier recommended wines and the best creative cocktails!

Peter Centner: and strike up a conversation with one of their many talented and knowledgeable bartenders.

Jon Hilgers: Great place. Could use some additional external signage to indicate the really terrific restaurant inside. Staff is young and seems a little new at the job but everyone who helped us was eager to find answers to our weird questions and always looked to keep us happy. The food was surprising and very good, especially the charcuterie plate and the grits entree, which blew us all away. Adding delicious cocktails all around, I'd rate this a real winner.

Stray Dog: what do users think?

Amber R: I generally enjoy going to Stray Dog but the service is not what it once was. I understand the place gets busy but drinks go without refills, and most recently we wrapped up our dinner in under an hour, but according to the rules of table reservations parties of 4 are allowed up to 2 hours. We were leaving soon and had paid the tab.We were a party of 3, and our third went to use the rest room. While we were waiting for her return a manager came and told us we had 5 minutes to wrap it up. Bizarre and pushy, especially because we were dining with a reservation and had occupied the table for less than hour. Love the burgers, bummed about the service.

christina marie Johnson: We rented the back room and had a lovely time! It was a minimum of 1500$ that we were told we needed to spend but we had a lot of people! They did everyone on separate tabs too which was super convenient. It was a really cool set up and I’d Recommend it if you had like 30 ppl!Vegetarian options: Some vegan options too!Dietary restrictions: I think I saw gluten free options

Pat Williams: Great burgers and hot dogs. Extensive and tasty vegetarian menu. Amazingly wide selection of beers.Vegetarian options: Entire vegetarian version of the menu that can also largely be customized to be vegan. Also, lots of vegan "meat" options from the Herbivorous Butcher.

Stephen Thiessen: Great vibe. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was quality and cooked perfectly. My wife has specific food restrictions and they had great vegan and vegetarian options.Limited specialty cocktails, but a great mule selection.

Kent Tuominen: Edit 4/2024: My name isn't Steven.

Alexandra Hanson: Great brewery! Tasty beer, friendly staff, large and comfortable space. I really like the overall atmosphere, and it's in a cool and convenient location. They also host various events like cribbage and trivia and have rotating food trucks. It's a great place for meeting up with friends and I'll definitely be back!

Brandon Rothe: Excellent choice of beer and wonderful outside sitting area. Definitely would recommend for a night out and check their website for any upcoming live music and food trucks

Michelle Nicholson: , bringing his milk in a small pitcher easy to pour into a sippy cup, and to myself - bringing a mocktail version of my dad’s birthday drinks unprompted as I am expecting. The birthday candle on my father’s gelato and grandson / family time made it a super memorable experience. Thank you, Martina!

Christine Hubert: Such a great experience! I made reservations for my husband’s birthday on a Friday night. They sat us immediately and told us they saved us a booth. Then they made us a complimentary birthday drink. The food was delicious and drinks were good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will put this on our “restaurants list” for future fine dining options!

JANN BERGLUND: Drove 4 hours for my bday and can't wait until my next! In love with the octopus! Fun vibe, great service and unique drinks.Vegetarian options: Very fresh and creative options.

The News Room: what do users think?

Megan D: and a honey goat cheese spread. I ordered it with home fries.Oh, my goodness! I had a hard time putting down the sandwich, it was that good! It was grilled like a panini, served nice and warm. The flavors all meshed very well together. Outstanding! The home fries were much bigger than what I was used to, but I really enjoyed them this way as they were not dried out like some of the small ones can be. They were also very flavorful. I would hands down get this meal again. The only knock to the News Room, is that the service was not good. As one of my team members said, our server was just checking the box of being there without any emotion or care to help us enjoy our time there. Hopefully it was just a one-off experience.

Sociable Cider Werks: what do users think?

MaShaunna Henrichs-Winlaw: and just came out to theor brewery today.

Isiah Daniels: As the name suggests, this place is all about being social. You definitely want to come with a group. My party of two stopped by on a trivia night and, even with the host on the loud speakers, I'd say the sound split was 55/45 in favor of guest chatter. Nicely varied selection of drinks, and the food truck has a solid burger. Tots were a bit over seasoned for my taste.

John Prall: The ciders have been awesome for years. Their THC beverages are some of the best in the industry. The taproom is great and just keeps getting better. Such a great spot, we’re lucky to have them in our city!

Mia Coma: was super helpful in answering my questions and that the staff was very helpful with making sure we had enough tables

Megan Noel Johnson: A semi regular here and I always love it. Great rotating selections of music and experiences. Two sides of business allow as much distance or engagement with programming. Bar staff is awesome, usually at least one fire pit going outside. Awesome food trucks

Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza: what do users think?

Kellen Stokes: but I would go here again in the future.

Rachel R: Food: 5/5

Shawn Miranda: A friend of mine who is a New Yorker recommended Black Sheep to me. If that doesn't say enough about how good the pizza is, nothing will. We ordered some smoked wings, a Meatball, Ricotta & Garlic Pizza and a Hot Salami & Dried Chili Pepper Pizza. Additionally I had a Minnesota Mule. Both the pizzas, and the wings were great, but my favorite was easily the Hot Salami. I can't wait to go back.Parking: Parking is easy to find. Even if the lot is full, street parking is quite plentiful in Downtown Minneapolis.

John Lee: Always 🔥Recommended dishes Pizzas …

Fidel Velasquez: I brought my boss who was visiting Minneapolis for the first time to this place. The pizzas were absolutely delicious. Though for some reason we only ordered four items and ended up spending $150. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, because he paid for the meal. So I guess what I’m trying to say is thank you for making corporate spend money on me. The staff were great and again, the food was incredibly delicious.

Normandy Kitchen: what do users think?

Michael Dvoracek: This was the food highlight of our trip to Minneapolis for me. I had the Eggs en Cocotte, which I had never heard of and can't pronounce correctly, but was delicious. It was over-easy eggs served in a casserole dish with ham and cream with gruyere cheese broiled on top and it was amazing. My wife got the Normandy skillet and also enjoyed it very much. The toast was even great with a nice bread and and English Muffin. The bartender who served us, Tom, was very nice and pleasant to interact with during our meal.

Andrew Johnson: really is a big part of his life story and is a lifelong memory I will cherish. The Normandy is a shining example of the quality and care you give to your patrons as well as to your staff. Thank you for keeping such a special place running.Respectfully,Andrew Johnson

Donald Whipple Fox: This is by far my favorite restaurant. It has a wide fare of wonderfully prepared, decadent culinary dishes. I will admit that one of my main reasons for my initial admiration for this restaurant had to do with the pommes frites accompagnement of sauce Béarnaise. This, sadly, has faded away, but the steak au poivre vert, the pork, the Henry VIII burger, the meatloaf, the sensational soupes du jour, and all the rest of the delectable repasts are well worth your attention. I will be bit critical of tonight's fare, the wild rice risotto served with sweet potato croquette, roasted kalette and grape, crème fraîche, and fresh Parmigiano Reggano. While the croquette does melt in the mouth, and the kalette and grape truly add to the flavour, the dearth of mushroom is a setback. I actually requested a separate order of sauteed mushrooms to supplement the dish. Nonetheless, I still love this wonderful locale. Good beers, a wonderful bottled French cider, and a plethora of fine wines add to the overall plaisir gourmandise! Enjoy!

Karen Kowieski: Had my wedding reception here 54 yrs ago today! We were back a few yrs ago at Easter time & when they heard our story they were very gracious & let us go to the room where we had our reception. At the end of our evening our hostess got us an Uber made sure we got to the car safely & paid for our ride back to our hotel! It was a great evening! Thanks for your hospitality! 💞💞

Janice Vassar: Great place to meet friends for drinks.

She even brought out some water for our pup. Food came out and it looked delicious. I had breakfast and my hubs had a bacon burger. My breakfast was great snd the french toast was excellent! Highly recommend! Hubs enjoyed his burger. When we come back here, we will be coming back to this restaurant!

Colita: what do users think?

Robyn: Very interesting modern Mexican small plates. Great vibes + food for large groups!Atmosphere: 5/5 …

Greg Aulwes: Had a fantastic birthday dinner there with my wife and friends. Our server did a great job with recommendations, as we took all of his except for swapping one plate for another. The drinks were also on point.Dietary restrictions: Kitchen is entirely gluten free.

Elizabeth Mo: Had a wonderful dinner date here on a Wednesday night. It was still a very busy night for the resturant, meaning there were some tables that were spaced inches apart in the main area and making it loud enough that conversation was occasionally difficult to hear. The food though, was wonderful. We started with a couple of cocktails, the Mamakuna and La Clandestina, both of them were tasty, being fruity and light, in their respective ways. The first food we got was the masa & guacamole along with the corn elote, which go together in a fun mix-n-match way. For mains, we got chicken tinga tostadas and the seared scallops. The chicken tinga was a lot of savory deliciousness without being to heavy and the seared scallops were full of vibrant flavors, and surprisingly spicy with the salsa macha. And of course, we got the churros for dessert. They were fun and tasty, with the dulce de leche and sweetend cream, I definetly favored the cream, but I'm less of a sugar person.I would love to go again, but I think I will wait until the patio is open to get some more elbow room and bring down the noise level.Parking: The parking lot is very small, fewer than a dozen spots. There is plenty of street parking, but it's a busy area.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no curb on entry. The entranceway is pretty tight, it's got a straight hall to the left inside the front door, straight to the front desk. To get into the seating area is a right turn from facing the desk.In the seating area, there is very little room between tables, to the point where some of the tables are literally inches apart. There is a wide through path to the back of the building, where kitchen and restrooms are located. The restrooms are roomy but have low toilets.

Kate Nelson: This is my second year celebrating my birthday at Colita, and I couldn’t be happier. Our server, Theo, was wonderful and brought us free samples of the very tasty house-made Curado de Peranja. I wouldn’t have ordered it on my own but I’m so glad I got to try it, I ended up buying a round for my friends because we enjoyed it so much. So light and fruity. We then started with the masa & guacamole, which was so tasty. All of our dishes were wonderful and rich. Don’t forget to save room for dessert- the churros are to die for! I wish they still had the brownie and the tres leches though. They had them last year and they were both very good. However, the churros were the best so I’m glad they kept them. The Octopus al Pastor was pretty good, but the tacos and tostadas are where colita really shines. Can’t wait for next year!Dietary restrictions: Entirely gluten free!
