The staff are all very caring and motivating, which is needed during an extended stay here.The physical and occupational therapists I worked with pushed me hard, challenged me, and kept me motivated in relearning how to walk. I know that my recovery has been so successful due to the amazing staff.

S Chang: In our personal experience, we had great help and service from the staff members and extremely nice.Nurses are attentive and constantly checking at the times promised. OT/PT/ST were incredibly helpful and encouraging to allow patience to regain their independence.Front door is always monitored by security cameras and are closed after certain hours, but can be accessed with permission. Family members are allowed to stay and have comfortable sleeping chair that turns into a twin bed. There is a refrigerator you can leave food in with name tags. Patience are allowed to walk the perimeter with supervision of family members/friends. Therapy is approximately 3 - 4 hours a day. Patiences shower once a week on a certain day scheduled with supervision. There are many positive things about this rehab center, do not let it discourage you from coming here. There is parking ramp that could cost some money, parking meters right in front of the entrance or some free parking around the area. All of the homes by the hospital requires a parking permit or else you will be towed.Everyone's experience is a bit different, but I can reassure you we had nothing, but good things to say about this place and feel very lucky to have my sister admitted to this rehab center.

CST Thiewes: This staff and facility have a tough job! They received my mom after her stroke while her condition was somewhat unstable. She couldn’t assist in her family-assist transport, we did, to get her there.The PT, OT, SL were outstanding. It is a different kinda of set up. They want the patients to gain their independence back. It isn’t easy but they want the best for you and give you the best from themselves.The food isn’t the best. Food from home is difficult to facilitate to the patient but they try to help you accomplish all of your goals.They are a remarkable set of people. Thank you!

I highly recommend this new Doctor. For me to come to TCSC I had to drive 6.5 hours one way. Dr Parras came in and spoke with me for about 15 min then dismissed me. I thought for what I went through to get there that he would at least ask to look at or feel my back. There should be no doubt as to his capabilities. He is a master in his field for sure. This is an honest review by somebody that was really there.

At Abbott a doctor that is assigned to you will always be the one who sees you where in Mankato you could have 12 different doctors that see you. The doctors at Abbott N.W. Hospital communicate with each other where at Mankato they dont. I would highly recommend Dr. Pinto if you have to have spine surgery. He takes the time to listen which a patient likes in a doctor and needs from a doctor. He is very good at explaining things along with his co-worker

If need be, I'd have surgery here again.It's a smaller surgical center that is less intimidating. It is a good place to have surgery for people who are intimidated by hospitals or other big surgical settings.

This review is for a total hip replacement with Excel program:I always have the same/similar but slightly different experiences with surgeries……with the exception of TCO. He was thorough in his initial consultation, saw me again in his office prior to surgery to ensure I had read all the material and answered any questions. The Allina book about hip replacement was well written and an excellent resource before, during and after my surgery. Admissions at the hospital went smoothly, all staff was especially caring and also fun, which put me at ease. In particular, I want to recognize my nurse Stacy, who was part of the care team on the 7th floor. She was absolutely excellent, reassuring, caring and fun. I am so appreciative of all the providers at Abbott as the job they do is hard and not without risk. We are lucky here in Minnesota to have such a great hospital and talented professionals to provide us care!

It was absolutely wild, because it had been years since I was able to go to bed at night and not have any pain or stiffness in my head, neck, or shoulders. And I now get to sleep like this every single night!!!Fast forward a couple more years, and I have still been getting acupuncture every single week, and for the last 11 months, I have incorporated light therapy with my weekly chiropractic and acupuncture appointments. When I tell you that my entire body has never felt more relaxed, it is almost unfathomable to believe! I have never slept better in my life until I started light therapy. It literally relaxes every muscle in my body. Any time I am sore from yard work, exercising, or anything else, a trip to the light bed melts it all away. I don’t even feel the acupuncture needles anymore! The most unexpected thing to happen from doing red light therapy every week for almost a year- my hair is growing back thicker than ever. I went from being in constant pain every day of my life to being able to enjoy life without any pain and without medications that don’t work and make you feel like crap.If you’ve ever been on the fence about going to a chiropractor, I’d be willing to bet any amount of money that Dr. Rachel and her team can help.I wish I could rate higher than five stars! Words cannot even express how happy I am with my experience! Not only was I lucky enough to get a same day appointment, all of the staff as well as Dr. Moore were amazing. Dr. Moore was very courteous and she took the time to listen to all of my concerns and she also did several types of adjustments on my neck and back; it was instant relief for me! This place gives people hope and a chance to feel somewhat normal when they are dealing with not normal circumstances during their daily life.

Wish all places were like this- they should be the standard for the medical field and recognized by the state/peers/patients/etc.- seriously, I worked in the medical field before getting sick and seen it all, now on the other end, I find it's difficult to find providers who genuinely care for patients for the long haul and TCSC/TCPC go above and beyond and are consistent. Melissa in billing is awesome- she should be in charge of the billing at the surgery center

They took the time to see me on their breaks, call me back while in duty at the hospital and overall have been kind and helpful on this new journey. Clearly not cheap and yes lots of expensive tests are needed to neurologist to do their jobs but way better than expected. I will admit not easy to get any appointment, referral and insurance companies do this and the teams navigate as best they can.

I’ve been seeing her for a few years now and wish I could have her as my provider for everything. She actually listens, truly cares about patients, is insightful, genuine, and is the best provider I have ever had, hands down. I truly feel like I have an advocate who cares about me as a person and wants to improve peoples lives. If it wasn’t for her I don’t know what I would do. She is absolutely wonderful and I am so grateful.

Jeffrey Pomeroy: At first I was not impressed with my first care provider. Then I was handed off to Dr. Dastagir for migraine treatment. Dr. Dastagir is warm and kind. He will take time and listen to the patient. He also wants the patient to be an active part in his or her treatment plan. Just be mindful it may take a while until both of you find the right treatment plan for the individual! I have had all my calls returned and voicemail answered. Unfortunately this may take 24 to 48 hours. Just wish the clinic would have a phone bank. Where you could speak to a live person when you call in.
