Trey: Stopped here to do some work in the morning recently as it was near where I was staying and had just about the perfect coffee shop experience! Pleasant customer service, calming music, soothing atmosphere, a delicious miel latte, and a very tasty pb&j oat bar that I believe was locally made from scratch. Sydney Gisvold: BEST COFFEE I absolutely love their pumpkin spice and chai syrup blends. Whoever is in charge of that is incredible. The only thing I don't like about the place is the yellow walls. I like yellow but they could definitely use a hue more pleasing to the eye.

Tiffany Cannon: Best coffee in the Twin Cities! I LOVE this place. We come here often and the coffee is always wonderful. It’s like free therapy on a bad day and makes a great day even better. I can’t recommend NC enough. A donut shop is a few steps away, and if you want to take it to go with kids, Hiawatha playground is also not too far of a walk. It is kid friendly if you choose to stay! They have a pastry case with GF options. The items come from local bakeries.

Emily T: Bordertown is by far one of my favorite places near the U of M campus. You really have to look for it since it’s in the middle of the block. Love the charm of the building, makes for a great study or work spot if you can find a seat. Drinks are good, tried a seasonal beverage and it did not disappoint. They definitely put care into your order.

Jasmine Goldenstein: Very large building and very busy. Sometimes people come in with their well behaved dogs and i love it! I wasn't a big fan of what I ordered but I tried something new. Coffee itself was nice. Outside of the building is a bar that has outdoor games that some people were playing which is a cool feature. There isn't really any legit outdoor seating but plenty of spots to sit along the plants and a few spots if you can snag one. Parking was in fact easy

Truffle Lover: We started coming here a few years ago, and the first few times were amazing. We were getting light roast single origin espresso shots that were clearly meticulously pulled. More recently, the vibes haven’t been the same. Baristas w probably less experience. Coffee blends for espresso. Honestly very sad, loved it here.

Bianca Turman: We had a cinnamon pull-apart, a white lightning, and a seasonal gingerbread latte. The white lightning looked nothing like the advertised pictures and also had no vanilla flavor. The espresso tasted burnt and it was overall an unenjoyable beverage. The gingerbread latte had no recognizable gingerbread flavor but instead tasted like a standard latte with a dash of cinnamon. The espresso tasted far better in this drink but it was still underwhelming. We enjoyed the cinnamon pull-part most out of what we ordered, however, it was still quite dry.The service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere was lively with excellent decor.

Bonnie Shelangi: I got the toffee crunch latte, customized to 1/2 sweetness, and it was delicious!! Also, the scone was fabulous. The service was very friendly and upbeat, and the ambiance is great. There's a large selection of books to read at the little free library in the cafe, which is a plus for me, an avid reader 😀 And finally, it was so entertaining to watch the dogs patiently wait for and then enjoy their puppuccinos 🐶😍

Carolina C: A very friendly place, with a different and varied menu and good coffee, unfortunately oat milk was requested because my friend is lactose intolerant, we paid extra for that special request and the waiter was asked again not to have whole milk and he assured that no, unfortunately that requirement was not met and my friend suffered the neglect of it.

All SOOO good.The specialty coffee was super good but very sweet so if that’s not your thing I would stick to the drip coffee, which was also very good.
