Modern Focus Experience: I’m not even sure where to begin - this is the cutest baby store I’ve EVER seen! I called in a panic after arranging a car seat for our 2 month old upon our arrival at the airport… well they showed up with a booster seat. I was nervous the same would happen on our ride back later in the week so I googled and found they had a Doona car seat stroller. I called and they had one in stock. It’s definitely pricey but as much as we travel it’s worth it and gave us so much peace of mind for our trip back. I came back two days later when I had more time to really walk through and purchased a few more items… I wanted to buy just about everything but held back!

Kari and Kim sent me pictures of suggested gift ideas and put together the perfect present. Kari and Kim selected a cute card and wrote in a lovely message for my friend and arranged the shipping. I do not live in the area and knew I could rely on Pacifer’s team to help! I called the store and the ladies were so incredibly helpful and responsive. I hope that more people can “call small” and get the perfect gift with a loving touch added vs. shopping big box.

Karen Schecter: The customer service at this store is THE BEST! I ran into a problem with something that I bought from another place, and Pacifier Kids came to the rescue, returning phone calls immediately, expediting shipping and getting the trike to me in no time at all for our grandson's birthday. I will use them again and again and again. And when we had a problem with assembly they came to the rescue again and sent us a replacement. They are amazing, and their inventory is amazing as well.
Ashley G: I’ve only ever had positive experiences with the multiple Pacifier locations I have visited over the last 4 years of being a customer. However, I wanted to share that recently I had placed an online curbside pick up order for a bassinet stand 3 days after having a baby and during a horrendous snow storm. Due to the dangerous road conditions the store’s usual transfer truck couldn’t get the product from the warehouse to the store for me to pick it up and when I called to inquire about the order the person I spoke to was so amazingly kind and put the item in her car and drove it to the store for me to be able to pick it up immediately. It was so unexpectedly nice and I am so grateful.

Megan Appleton: My partner and I had an awesome experience at the North Loop location. Went in pregnant with our first just curious to check out the space and learn about some of the gear. We were so impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, and kindness of the staff we left with a stroller and some other gear we were going to put off until later. Our baby is one month old now, and we are loving all the gear we bought during that visit, and haven’t been to another baby store that has impressed us as much as this! Thanks Pacifier! After I went to check out a deal on an Uppababy stroller, I wanted to see one in person. I stopped in the store and the two associates were so knowledgeable and friendly! They were able to help me check out all the strollers I had considered, they had the same prices as the online deals, they have exceptional service and a discount on accessories! When I decided on a product I fell in love with, they had the high-end Veer stroller in stock and was able to come home with me that day! I didn’t have to spend time waiting for an online order to emerge! They also told me they could help ensure my future car seat would be installed correctly when purchased through them! That’s a great service! I’ve already sent multiple texts to friends about how great their store is and I think moms-to-be need to check it out! Low sales pressure matched with exceptional service! Courtney Spiess: I had issues with staff not calling me back when I called the main number to get an update on my furniture order. I called several times and was told I would get a call back with an update. That didn't happen until I left a google review. If you're looking for an update respond to the confirmation email instead. That would have gotten me to the right person faster. Once I did get through to someone who knew what they were doing I got good service and he came up with a solution that worked for both of us.

Initially there was a problem with the rocker from the manufacturer and baby grand with no effort resolve the issue to our satisfaction.

They called me back just a few hours later and had one set of bed rails unclaimed for and said to come by the following week and pick them up. I went today and they had them all ready for me and brought it out and loaded it into my car. I cant recommend them enough! Customer service is amazing and it was the icing on the cake that they took the extra steps in fixing their mistake and making it up! Thanks again Baby Grand for such a great experience :

Griffin Frank: This store/franchise is absolutely amazing. I am from Indianapolis, have a four year old daughter; and was trying to get a specific product that was out of stock and more or less discontinued from 13 nationwide locations. Rocio is that long particular gets my most praise. She was extremely helpful, informative, and communicative throughout my entire search and purchase of the particular item. Having worked in high end retail for multiple years, I can easily say she has a promising future if she wishes to pursue sales and retail or anything of the sort. I bought an old Burley from Kid A to try with my small senior dog, as he can’t walk long distances anymore but loves being outside. New dog strollers are crazy expensive, with no guarantee he would tolerate one. Tried the Burley, and he loves it!! I just put a pillow in the foot well to make a level surface, added a dog bed, and used one of the kid straps to clip to his harness. Worked great! I’m so glad to have a solution that was affordable and eco-friendly from a local business. The staff at Kid A were very helpful in showing me how to assemble it at pickup, as well. Highly recommend this place!

Patrick Sejkora: As a parent, I appreciate everything Kid A offers. Buying things for kids, who constantly are transitioning from one thing to the next, can quickly get to be an overwhelming process. Here, there's no negotiations with a rando on Craigslist. There's no wondering if this item from Amazon from a brand you never heard of will fall apart after a month. Instead, they offer high-quality, name brand items at a reasonable price coupled with the exceptional ease we've grown used to in our online world. Plus the added environmental impact of not buying new. Last but not least, every time I peruse the website, I get Radiohead songs stuck in my brain!

They measure the kids' feet and then check to ensure the shoes fit properly. They also give suggestions on shoe brands for each child's feet. We don't go anywhere else for shoes! B B: I live nearby so this is my neighborhood target.They have good prices on avocados so I come here for those and for hygiene products.That said, the past couple times I have shopped here I have been double charged at checkout.Be sure and check your bank statements because something is wrong with their computer system or something.Otherwise, I like this store.

Randy S: The customer service at this store was phenomenal. It is harder and harder to find folks willing to work with you and help you learn what you need to about the products they are selling - I find that the older I get, the easier it is for me to say "Forget it" when some 18 year old tries to fake their way through the purchase process, and I have been known to walk right out the door. Let's face it, baby stuff can be expensive, and for that kind of money I want to work with someone who is educated in the product.That is exactly what we found at this store. The owner herself was hands on, walking my wife and l through the process of identifying the best values for the product we wanted. She went over the top to ensure that our experience there was a good one, even offering to help find an alternate method of receiving products that didn't happen to be in stock. After having a greatly disappointing visit to a big box baby store, I can only say thank you to the people at Pacifier Kids - their business model was 'spot-on' for us. 100% would recommend.
Nick Wolner: Great little store next to Punch pizza with cute baby and toddler clothes and gifts. My wife calls it Baby Patina. Employees greeted us right away and were very helpful during our hour long visit. They were very open to my three year old daughter playing with everything. We live in Chicago, but will be back!

Emily Oates: This is a great boutique. I purchased all my children’s summer clothes here. The Owner set up a private shopping experience due to COVID19 precautions. She was super helpful by pulling things in advance in my children’s sizes and didn’t hover while I shopped. Sales are pretty infrequent here. I was told they unfortunately do not offer a Military Discount but was grateful she told me of the current sale of 20% off in store purchases with a gift card purchase. I did that over the phone. When I shopped I used the prepaid gift card amount and those items were discounted by 20%. I appreciated the heads up on the sale. I did not have my children with and I DID need to make a second trip to exchange for different sizes or items completely several days later. On this second trip Grandma pushed the baby while my toddler road his scooter in the area. After I had pulled all the correct sizes and new items my children popped in briefly to try on items I wanted to check for fit. The owner was kind and sweet with both of my children. It was a large haul and the Owner made the adjustments sweetly and smoothly. Do know this is a boutique. They have to stick strictly with their return/exchange policy. So plan on abiding by it. This is true of every boutique/small local businesses I’ve shopped at. This boutique has a good selection of organic clothing. Unfortunately, a limited selection of fair trade clothing. Overall, I’m super pleased with the quality of my children’s clothes from here and I would go back if in the area again to support this cute well run boutique. Thank you for making my summer children’s clothes haul pleasant, efficient, and seamless!
Betty Folkens: Seven years ago I went to Goodnight Moon to purchase my oldest granddaughters communion dress. I went back today to get my youngest granddaughter her communion dress. I can not begin to tell what a wonderful experience both times have been. The dresses are absolutely beautiful and unique. The salesperson that helped us was so helpful. I'm out of granddaughters and will miss this shopping experience.

Grace Fredricks: I was a little bit wary going in, I thought it looked small and that I wouldn’t be interested in what they sell. However, this place had such cute items, and I was OBSESSED. They had all kinds of studio ghibli, miffy, sonny angels, etc. I haven’t been able to have access to items like these since they’re always out of stock online or at other stores. The prices were normal for the items being sold, I couldn’t afford a ton of things here but the little things i found i love so much. The staff is sweet and helpful with locating items or prices. She told me about things behind the register that I would be interested in. All together, i’m obsessed and i’ll be back! I’ll be sure to tell everyone i know about this place too. 3

Many of the items can be hard to find in the US, so it was great to shop in person. They also carry some cool vintage toys/clothing. The packaging is also super cute, and makes the perfect gift. Highly recommend!

It’s located next to a few different restaurants and is so tiny that if you aren’t looking carefully, you just might miss it.The store itself seems to specialize in open-ended play toys as well as wooden toys and vintage clothing. I absolutely love it! Prices are on the high end but reflect the quality of the items.I have to use all my self-control not to stop every time I pass the store.

Mostly just dress and casual shoes. They did have one pair of Dr. Martens boots in a size 14. They were a bit more than I was planning to spend but they were on sale so I got a good deal and I know they're going to last.

Ron Sarat: I was shopping for a gift so I needed help. Anna came over and my phenomenal experience began. I wanted a sweater and Anna tried everything to find one in the 3T size I needed. Even suggesting competitors. She offered to have one sent from the warehouse, but it wouldn't have arrived in time. Then all of a sudden she thought of the mannequin. Sure enough that was it. I will be shopping there over and over again thanks to such outstanding customer service.

JC Cross: I went on Black Friday. Despite the large crowds, the customer service was exceptional.We always get our Christmas PJs from Carter’s. I haven’t found a better deal. They didn’t have the style I preferred in the store, so the manager helped me by searching their online inventory. I struck out there too, but she recommended some other styles that worked great.
