Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Minneapolis: what do users think?

David De La Torre: I stayed at this hotel for four days during a conference. This hotel is very close to the conference center, made it very convenient to go back and forth. The service at the hotel and the restaurant was top notch. They upgraded me to a larger room which was like an apartment with 2 baths, an office, lounge master bedroom and huge bathroom. No complaints whatsoever!Nearby activities: Next to convention center and short walking distance to Nicollete Mall and other downtown locations.Walkability: Connected via skywalk to the convention center and short walking distance to everything in downtown.

Chance Sparks: 5-stars for an imperfect stay, because a nice hotel has to be judged by how they respond. We had a major plumbing issue well out of their control involving some kind of broke line. Maintenance was there within 5 minutes, and they had us moved to a new room with keys and a luggage cart within another 5 minutes, along with some credits. That is a level of quality response you just don’t see often, and they should be commended!

Mitchell Greene: Rooms: Newly renovated, Luxury guest rooms and suites. Very comfortable. Spacious.Nearby activities: Minneapolis Convention Center, Minnesota Orchestra, Nicollet Mall, Dakota Jazz Club, Target Center, Target Field, US Bank Stadium, the Armory, the Orpheum Theatre, the State Theatre, the Pantages TheatreSafety: Secure building. Key card required for skyway entry and elevators.Walkability: Located in downtown Minneapolis. Walking distance to the Minneapolis Convention Center, Orchestra Hall, Nicollet Mall, and many restaurants.Food & drinks: Great restaurants. I really enjoyed Breva, Masa & Agave, and the Lobby Bar.Noteworthy details: Fantastic spa and fitness center on site.

Lisa Carmichael: . Player piano was a nice touch. Staff was helpful walking through. Valet service was friendly. Love Minnesota!

renee kessel: Spaces in front of the building are reserved for valet or hotel check in . There is metered parking available steps away from the hotel entrance as well as nearby parking ramps. Jack, Parker and Ryan in valet are courteous, professional and charming. Emily at the front desk is knowledgeable and friendly. Overall great service.Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …

Laura Heilman: and the bathroom was huge. I found the shower a bit odd and the runoff from the shower curtain was a challenge until I figured out how to manage it.The bed was comfy. Environmental controls were easy to understand. The TV was huge! Accessing channels was odd. As far as I could figure out you have to negotiate an Internet connection to view anything. There were no clear instructions, so it was a bit frustrating to figure out.I have nothing but praise for the staff. They were unfailingly courteous and friendly. I was there for a conference and the catering staff were also very personable and efficient. I never interacted with the housekeeping staff. They kept my room pleasantly clean and neat. There were loads of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I recommend Lotus for ThaiБезопасность: Mostly felt safe, but as a solo woman I wasn't totally comfortable about going too far after dark. Police presence was decent on the Mall though.

Kevin White:

Scott Manley: Посещаю конференцию, но остаюсь в другом месте. Конференц-зал хороший.Местоположение: 4 из 5 …

P Bouton: Good wifi, hot water, gym, maid service, and check-in. I did have a problem with being served uncooked fish at the bar which caused stomach upset for several days in the first of a 3 night stay and no one checked up on me after initially discussing the clearly undercooked dish with the chef and a manager. Otherwise a good hotel and great location to the city convention center.

Forrest Black: !!Bonus:The hotel is located near a ton of great food spots.Walkability: Tons of great places to eat within walking distance.

Hewing Hotel: what do users think?

geoff nelson: Great place to stay, we stayed here for my birthday and I love the rustic feel while also being well taken care of. We stay here a couple times a year and every time the experience is awesome. The hot tub can get busy on the roof but feels great and doesn’t give off that nasty hotel hot tub vibe which is common with public pools. Truly amazing feeling on a cold night!! Sauna and bathroom area along with shower area is really nice and clean feeling on the roof and they even provide lockers with codes for you to store your belongings while you are using the amenities. Close to restaurants and everywhere else downtown so you can arrive and give your keys to the valet then not worry about driving anywhere until you leave. The restaurants in the building are a bit more modern style diners with unique dishes and as much as I enjoy trying different food sometimes I just want to know what I am getting. Not a negative thing just something different for me. Price totally justify’s what you get at this hotel. I highly recommend everyone to stay here and do not think you will be disappointed.

Lauren: at the front desk I had during my check in and stay here. The restaurant was also amazing as well! Really good food and some of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. Definitely coming back again this year!!! Also my server Lolo was amazing as well.

Brian Frost: Room was pretty small, and ours lacked a window.Rooms: The room was clean, but pretty small. Nothing special by any means. Toilets are incredibly short in the bathroom.Nearby activities: The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to a number of restaurants, as well as Target Field, Target Center, and US Bank Stadium.Walkability: The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to a number of restaurants, as well as Target Field, Target Center, and US Bank Stadium.Food & drinks: The hotel is in walking distance to a number of restaurants.

Michael Dvoracek: Overall a decent stay. Very unique finishings and fun artwork in the lobby and in the room. I was pretty disappointed with the window in our room just looking out over a large indoor conference room with no view of the outside, which was really odd. There was also a weird stain on our bathroom door, not sure what it was, but it wasn't a huge deal as we weren't touching it or anything. The shower had decent pressure and temperature, but the faucet was loose and you could see into the wall behind it and there was only one setting for a rain-like spray on the head, would've liked something a bit nicer. Overall, I was pretty happy wit the stay.

johnny theophilus (WET TO ACTIVATE): I came up to work a convention at the Hyatt and didn’t realize my booking didn’t go through. The night crew at the front desk was extremely accommodating for parking as well. We had a huge super duty we use to tow our trailer and is the biggest hassle when it comes to downtown parking ramps but the security guard would come outside every time and guide us to an isolated spot. i couldn’t have asked for a cooler team.

Bradley Dickover: Oh hi ho hi hey I just seen a poker me and I’m pretty sure it had bald seed dragon or some type of weird and may comic like that, but we’re not going to copyright in fringe I said put the beer in the fridge that held Dragon Ball, Dragon BallNoteworthy details: I saw Batman four times Spider-Man 68 times and some girl that looked like Sailor Moon. I saw her about three different times. I don’t know what the hell is going on, but everybody’s dressed up the superheroes and I am like super curious by the time I got across the street was just villains. I’m pretty sure there’s like Galactic comic ward going on.. we should all take note of this! . I feel to mention how much I love lamp. This year’s pant party was an awesome one legged experience lol

W Minneapolis - The Foshay: what do users think?

Moe Omur (Mo): The W Minneapolis offers a truly luxurious experience that exceeds expectations. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with exceptional service and a modern, stylish atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you could need. The hotel's restaurants and bars are top-notch, offering delicious food and drinks in a chic setting. Overall, the W provides a 4-star experience that's worth every penny.

Paul McLellan: Growing up in minneapolis, I had always heard of the Foshay but did not know the intricate details behind the history of the place. While vacationing in Minneapolis with my wife, it was one of her targeted areas and we thoroughly enjoyed the museum that told the nuanced history of the building but the great surprise was the observation deck on the top floor. It was a stunning 360° View of the entirety of Minneapolis and was worth every penny.

MaiNhia Lee: The foshay was a nice hotel. I got a suite there on a Saturday and they had a live dj event that night too. Super sweet hotel manager told the bartender to give me their best cocktail drink because it was my birthday and my sister asked which was their best cocktails. She paid $20 bucks for that cocktail and it tasted different but good. The dj event was great as well and I was able to make a few requests for him to play my music. Had a great time there. The hotel was clean and pretty. The 27th floor is where the other bar/lounge was and I was a little disappointed with the size of it. It was small and not roomy at all so didn’t even stay there. Overall, it’s a cute place and I wouldn’t mind getting a room there again.

Rachel L: and it was half clean. We called and immediately got switched to another room which was actually nicer so we weren’t too upset. But then we noticed there was no hot water that night. Figured it was just us and would be fine by morning. The next morning

toni snickers: Excellent foodFood & drinks: Excellent food and beverage

Deb Piekutowski: The Emery Autograph hotel is beautiful 🖤The parking was easy, the check in was easy, was offered a craft beer because it was Happy Hour.Bottled water was also available.Staff was so kind and knowledgeable.Rooms were very clean.I stay in hotels 7 months out of the year. This hotel was clean.Very knowledge staff in all areas.Breakfast and coffee bar was perfect.Well done Emery!!Rooms: Clean, comfortable beds, big showers, quietNearby activities: Very close to many different activities... walking distance.Safety: Very safe!Needed a room key to go in elevator, rooms were safeWalkability: Downtown Minneapolis a lot to do in walking distance 😊Food & drinks: Bar was fun and bartenders were knowledgeable on any drink. No specials though 😞

Omar Weathersby: Had a very nice stay the Emery. Great experience with staff all the time. Super friendly, helpful, and appreciative not just to me, but any time they were helping someone. The lobby is outstanding. Great vibe for any occasion, group outing or date night. Very cool bank vault wall and fireplace.. full size pool table... excellent. The one thing was not as unique as expected for a signature property was the room. It was rather average. So a good night's rest, but not the "whole experience"For the service, location and lobby I'd stay again. But looking for the full signature experience, not so much, but can't stress enough, everyone was great!Rooms: The room i was in was rather plain for a signature hotel. When I select a signature property, I always look forward to unique room, and this was not. Comfy, but nothing out of the ordinaryNearby activities: Great sports bar Toms WatchWalkability: Great location easy to get to everything the are has to offerNoteworthy details: Lobby is phenomenal. Whether you need a quiet place to work, relax by fireplace, drink and socialize... great place

Sarah T: My stay was for a staycation and it was perfect! The hotel is very clean and has a calm and welcoming feeling when you first enter. The front desk staff were very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful to interact with! The room was very spacious and clean, had normal outlets and USB plug ins by the bed which was great along with many other outlets throughout the room in convenient spots which i find very helpful. The room service was quick and convenient. There are a lot of great amenities which is awesome. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel whether it be for a staycation, vacation, for a business trip, or whatever it may be you need a hotel for!

Tom Anderson: I remember it being Grand Hotel and haven't stayed since the switch over to Hyatt. Very good location..nice big room, nice staff. I was lazy on a Monday morning and ordered room service. It was good but think of a Dennys breakfast being served in paper takeout. Coffee wasn't the best and $4 for a cup not worth it. I would stay again but not order room service. I do miss The Grand. They had a great service when you could just order coffee to be delivered to your room the next morning.

Pam Daiker: after the Vikings game and enjoyed a cocktail watching the ball drop in the hotel bar. It was nice to be able to sit down, meet some new friends without a cover charge or standing all night AND be able to run up to our room if needed, grab a drink from the bar, grab a piece of pizza from your new friends or play some Jenga by the fireplace! They had a breakfast buffet on New Years Day, $17 with salmon eggs benedict and many other things. My fiance enjoyed that very much however I went with the classic breakfast off the menu for $10 which is eggs, hashbrowns and your choice of meat. Very good experience.Safety: I felt very safe there. Even after hours.

Moises Vega: I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was big and clean and one thing that I liked the most was that there are motion activated lights on the bottom of the bed for when you get up ij the middle of the night and see where you are walking. The service was fast and amazing, we ordered a margarita pizza and it was delicious. The valet workers were so nice and they made sure to take good care of the cars. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I will definitely come back for another night.

The Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton: what do users think?

Cheryl Wirkus: This was a very nice hotel. I have never visited here before. It is super expensive though. The design of the building inside is really quite unique. Front desk staff very knowledgeable and polite. As much as I like the stay. I cannot return for that amount of money.. Eating breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel was very expensive also. The hotel is conveniently located near a lot of shopping. For as nice as the hotel was and as expensive as it was, I was kind of surprised that they had the old fashioned tub shower instead of a nice walk in shower.

Todd Green: snapped off a pretty witty comeback to me. I about died of embarrassment and laughter at the same time. The rooms were amazing. I was really curious if the #55 room is a real room or not. It is tucked between the 2 elevators. My floor 1555 looked like it could either be a storage room disguised as a Guest room or maybe there is a secret candelabra that you pull to reveal a Vegas Style baller suite. I walked to my room wondering all of the possibilities that room could offer. I opened my room and maybe not Vegas Baller Suite, but defiantly Reno or Tahoe. Two full walls were all window looking out onto the city.I had to put on my hiking shoes before making the trek to pull the curtains closed, but it was like the ending of the old timey movies where the curtain closes at the end. I was just getting that last look of the city before it was gone. The biggest things I look for in a room is 1: Can I see the TV from the desk. Yes. Perfectly. B: Can I plug in all my stuff next to the bed. Hell Yes. I had USBs on the sides of the table between the beds, there was a Mag charger on top of the clock, and the front of the clock had 2 more USB plugs. When I looked under the bed there was a little mad tucked under there and he handed me 2 more USB plugs. I still don't know if he worked for the hotel, but he made me amazing coffee in the morning. The bathroom was well done. It is always the spot to see if the hotel pays attention to maintaining the hotel or not. They had one bar of soap for my face but had amazing bath products in the pump bottles on the counter and in the shower. I was expecting the normal shot across the room when I pushed down, but it came out smoothly showing that someone has a stack of toothpicks and keeps those spouts clean. It was not the most enjoyable shower that I have had, but it is the most enjoyable that I can discuss here.On check-out I made sure to tell the manager about what a great property and staff she has. Actually, that would have been the perfect time to ask if that guy works here or not. At+

Will Ruffin II: One of my favorite places to stay.Walkability: 10 minute walk to Target CenterFood & drinks: If you enjoy good seasoned food, the dry rub wings are where it's at.

Windows On Minnesota: what do users think?

TCWEP Network: Incredible space for events with excellent staff. We had our Venue Tour + Vendor Meetup held on the 50th floor Windows at Marquette in downtown Minneapolis. We were so high up in the sky, one of the tallest skyscrapers in Minneapolis, the IDS building. You can seriously see for miles and miles out into the suburbs. Gorgeous spaces inside for any event with sweeping views outside with ceiling to floor windows.Marquette served a wonderful spread for brunch that included: toasted bagels slathered with cream cheese, capers and smoked salmon. Lots of fresh fruits, cantaloupe, melons, honeydew, melon, strawberries. And with the brunch theme there was wonderful toasted hashbrowns, and yummy quiche. It was delicious.Highly recommend Windows at Marquette for any special eventPhoto credit: Adrian Steinbach PhotographyTwin Cities Wedding & Event Professionals

Deborah Germany: Beautiful space for events. The view is amazing and the decor was excellent.

A W: I'm sure this will be a common theme in these reviews for the foreseeable future, but Kailey at Windows on MN knocked it out of the park. Exceeded our expectations in everyway and took care of a ton of the pre-wedding stress you typically hear about. The event staff was great, food was phenomenal, and we just couldn't be more grateful for how amazing the venue was. If you're on the fence go meet with them and you'll be blown away.

Olivia Sprosty: Kailey did such a great job taking over our booking on such a short notice! She made sure every detail was finalized for our big day and was very responsive to communication with us and our planner! The venue itself is so unique and one of a kind! Each meal we selected was so delicious and beautifully presented. All our guests were amazed at the views and the interior atmosphere of the venue!

Madeline Rana: Windows on Minnesota was a dream wedding venue. The views are spectacular, and bad weather won't ruin your day! We were lucky enough to have a clear, sunny day to fully enjoy the panoramic views, but going into my wedding without having to worry about a rainy day backup option gave me major peace of mind. The Marquette's team was also great to work with. They were helpful and communicative all throughout our planning process, and everything ran smoothly on the big day. The food was great, the bartenders were efficient, and everything went perfectly. They were also flexible and helped us to plan a multi-cultural fusion wedding, which was extremely important to us. Finally, having a hotel right there, across Crystal Court, made it smooth and easy for out of town guests to get to the wedding without needing to arrange special transportation. I can't imagine a better wedding venue.

Kara Haro: Working with the staff at Windows on Minnesota is a seamless process. They are communicative, pleasant and helpful and a real joy to work with. Both the planning/sales staff and the onsite staff during the event worked quickly and quietly to provide the best service for our event. The location can't be beat- your guests are in awe overlooking downtown Minneapolis and what lays beyond. Plus, the venue itself is interesting in the IDS tower, has ample parking available onsite and the furnishings and cleanliness are unparalleled. 5 stars!

Scott Sitron DJ: Windows on Minnesota is definitely worth taking a look at if you're going to be getting married or having a special event soon.I highly recommend checking out the pictures and reading the reviews. What an amazing wedding venue! Just book it! Everything is perfect. I only wish I had remembered my camera. My DJ company Scott sitron DJ can't wait to come back! The staff are beyond friendly and the layout is perfect!

Jay: We came here for a wedding last week and it was amazing. What a view! especially after dark. I word of caution however, if you have trouble with your ears popping in elevators, I recovered however.

Mallory Allinder: Beautiful views of Minneapolis!

Ella Tretyak: As a photographer, I love Windows on Minnesota! They have the coolest views ever. And all the windows make for great natural light! Its such a unique wedding venue, THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT!

Amber Oestreich: Amazing view and a great place for a wedding!

Max Tran: Great view!

Kat Franko: We had Amazing Wedding 10/15/2022 at Windows on Minnesota! Started the day with a get ready room prepared by the hotel and added on breakfast for the wedding party on the 3rd floor which was so spacious and made PERFECT get ready photos! Groomsmen used a suite to get ready in and we loved having our own spaces to keep the morning calm and special for all of us. Our ceremony was off site, but used Stars for a cocktail space for our 200 guests which had perfect views and LOVE the passed mushroom arancini appetizer!! My only recommendation is adding an extra bar

Heather K: Gorgeous venue!

Nancy Zesch: Delicious

Lisa Barrett: Fachon And Glenda Cryer wedding was so fabulous at this place..💕

S Kruger: Attended a wedding here and it was a nice place. The decor surprisingly light and sparkly, they really went heavy with the reflective surfaces. The bar was well stocked, and run. The food, which was Italian, was good and plentiful. The ceremony and reception took place in the same room and the set-up of the reception didn't take too long. My only criticisms would be the chairs were very uncomfortable by the end of the wedding and the decorative drapes were so dirty they were gray. They need to be taken down and washed. Seriously, take the time.

Aaron K.: Great Venue! Good food and good ambiance! Very courteous staff also!

Lorraine Lynch: Awesome place for an event

Roy Flores: I was a guest at a wedding in this venue and I must say it is very beautiful. It's big inside and the lights are very pretty. The bartenders were quick and friendly. The bathrooms are also very nice and big so they can accommodate lots of people. The security were friendly at the end of the night helping us get an uber. This place is perfect for a wedding.

Chris Nohner: Attended a friend's anniversary/vow renewal. Nice space overall, parking is real tough. Not sure who supplies the bar staff, but having to explain a drink order to a 'bartender' is irritating

Van Dusen Mansion & Event Center: what do users think?

Sydney Courington: We are so happy with the Van Dusen and its staff. They made the wedding planning process as easy as it can be! Our guests LOVED the venue and so did we. We would highly recommend!

Jenna Scattarelli: We just recently got married at Van Dusen Mansion and had the absolute best wedding in the world! The venue is stunning with so much character and historic charm that it made us truly feel like it was a one in a million kind of venue. Our wedding was seamless with how it was laid out where the entire day is at one location moving from the mansion, ballroom, courtyard and carriage house. The best part was the team who was there for you every step of the way. When we inquired, we worked with Jenna Zamjahn in the beginning of planning stages, and we connected with her instantly where she felt like an old, trusted friend. Jenna is super knowledgeable, helpful, and just an absolute joy to work with that we knew that this was the place for our big day. Once we decided on the venue, we worked with the wedding coordinator, Monica Sanger and because of her, it was a seamless process. Monica is the best at what she does. She goes above and beyond and made us feel like her top priority, super attentive and always there for us if we needed help. Her strong work ethic, eye-to-detail, compassionate heart are what make her stand out. We are forever grateful for having to work with Jenna and Monica and the whole VDM team for our special day. If it wasn’t for them, none of it was possible. This venue and the people are truly one of a kind and anyone would be lucky to have their wedding here!

Myers Ricky: Interesting

Jeffrey Millunzi: Overwhelming luxury with exceptional service and attention to detail.

Peter Millunzi: Beautiful, historic mansion in downtown Minneapolis. We were there for a wedding. It's s perfect venue for the ceremony and reception.

Travis Hembd: Really nice place

Noah R: I have worked wedding venues all across the Twin Cities and surrounding area as a contracted security professional. The Van Dusen has, by far, the best atmosphere and most interesting history, and the staff are highly personable and professional. I would absolutely work with any one of them again in a heartbeat, and recommend the venue to anyone seeking a place to host an upscale cocktail party, business social event, or wedding ceremony+reception.

lil savage: Beautiful place to getting married❤️🌹

Brenda Cruz: Gorgeous!

Veronica Barnes - Veronica Barnes Photography: Where do I even begin?! I photographed Marissa + Josh's wedding here in the early fall and I could not believe how gorgeous the Van Dusen is. You could get lost in all the amazingly-decorated rooms and there are countless backdrops for photos. Every staff member I encountered was extremely kind and I could tell they were working hard to make the day as smooth as possible. Highly recommend!

Dan Tveite: Went to a wedding for my nephew and the setting was terrific. The ballroom was okay for the ceremony and the dinner, but the mansion part and the building with the dance floor were amazing. Lot of fun

Katherine and Rick Ratliff Boomer: The Van Dusen Mansion is absolutely stunning 😍 and was perfect for our fall wedding, the colors and mood were everything we could have asked for. From the over all castle feel of the grounds to the secret garden vibe of the courtyard, it was all absolutely beautiful. The Van Dusen Mansion's team was a great help throughout the planning process, with helpful emails, and super friendly staff that were always available to answer questions when they came up. If you are looking for an absolutely breathtaking venue with staff dedicated to helping make your day perfect this is the place for your wedding!

Dan Burkhart: What a Beautiful place..

Emily Ferrazzo: from beginning to end.Luckily, the weather cooperated for our 10/21 wedding so we had the ceremony in the courtyard, allowing for a slow but procession through the grounds as the night progressed.Anything over our guest count would’ve been tight for the ceremony space AND dining hall, so keep that in mind. We chose to add two hours in the morning for $200/hour, very much worth it and the perfect amount of time for a 10-person wedding party

Alexa Assis: The Van Dusen Mansion was the perfect venue for our small wedding. We only had about 70-75 people, which felt perfect here. The mansion is absolutely gorgeous as well. The staff was excellent to work with - on top of everything, coordinated, and friendly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. We also lucked out with a perfect weather day so we could have our ceremony in the courtyard. Highly recommend!

Emily Miene: went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly unforgettable. From our very first meeting with them, they were attentive, accommodating, and incredibly helpful. They guided us through every step of the planning process, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with the utmost professionalism and care. The venue itself is breathtaking. The picturesque surroundings, beautifully landscaped gardens, and elegant decor provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Our guests were in awe of the stunning setting, and we couldn't have asked for a more romantic and enchanting atmosphere. One of the standout aspects of our experience was the exceptional service we received. The staff

From the knowledgeable greeters to the wait staff to Tom the bartender, everyone worked so well as a team to take such good care of all our club members. They truly made our event memorable with how they served us. Appetizers came out fresh, tasty and nonstop. Our main course was served simultaneously to all table members which was really neat!!! Hilton Minneapolis: what do users think?

Melissa Hosten: I was at a conference here. This has great rooms and flexibility for such a large conference! The food was excellent and the staff was super helpful.Nearby activities: This is close to the stadium, great food, Prince murals, First Avenue music venue, and the Sculpture GardenWalkability: Very easy to walk around and get wherever you want yo go.

Chad Nabity: Nice stay. Room was clean and nicely appointed. Did not get coffee in the room one day.Nearby activities: Convention CenterWalkability: Very walkable

Stephanie Heidinger: Stayed here for an Expo at the convention center. Getting from parking ramp to hotel desk was CONFUSING; getting to Convention Center from lobby is even worse! Skyway isn't really user-friendly & is a bit of a maze. After that said, the hotel itself is really nice & upscale. Called and asked if an early check-in was available & they accommodated.Downtown Mpls has tons of restaurants and bars to choose from if you decide not to use the ones in the hotel. It's time to put my feet up and enjoy the stay.
