Hosmer Library: what do users think?

Joel Abrahamson: A cozy neighborhood library, clean and comfortable. Well lit meeting rooms, imaginative play area for kids. Hosmer is not super big, but it has most everything you would need.

Abigail Romero: I used to come here daily after school, it was a really fun place. We used to do art activities and play in the Nintendo Switch. Until I had to move schools:( the staff were super friendly. I just miss going there. Over 5 stars, best place ever.

Jodie Lindell: this senior loves her hosmer library staff of whom assists me with computer and printing and copying needs AND everyone is greeted by staff person,Eric, of whom sometimes makes my day. senior here and his assistance and kindness is worthy recognition. I am not related to Eric in any way. Seriously ,he is valuable and helpful to EVERYONE whom enters Hosmer Library

Elizabeth: Always have enjoyed this library especially back in the day when I studied for college classes. They are very community-oriented and have many great programs. I went to print papers in color & didn’t have enough money left in my account & the librarian kindly assisted in printing the papers I needed for my classroom. Thank you from a teacher who has very limited access to printing in color at my school!

Cole Sarar: Top notch library! Not only does it have books, computers, and meeting spaces, but also really clean bright ungendered bathrooms, a community seed library, a fantastic story time for babies and toddlers, a great interactive play area for kids that changes regularly, and outdoor activities during warmer months. And like a million other things I didn’t mention.

Jonathan Aurand: can be loud even in the quieter areas.

Justin Grammens: Very cool library with a nice community space and events!

John Budziszewski: Beautiful library

K Deer: Warm librarians and usually free food for teens in the basement.

Dwight Hobbes: Excellent resource!

Olga Guzman: Exceptional space, staff, and security! Great for all ages. Best library in the Twin Cities.

Jc Hanson: I have been to many libraries throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. The staff here are some of the most helpful people I know. Nice clean environment with a good number of meeting rooms. Large yet accessible parking and on major bus routes. The services provided are exceptional. Far above what I have experienced from a city library.

timothy lindstrom: Modern building with all the information that YOU Need! Free parking and really quiet inside...

Olivia: clean. good facilities

The Earth Stars: .There is a nice fireplace located in the center of the library. I love the layout of this building and how comfortable it feels. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and knowledgeable. They did everything they could to help me out. One staff member showed me how to download the Libby app to check out books online as well as audio books. She walked me through every step and asked questions along the way to make sure I knew how to do something.I went around 10:30 am on a weekday

East Lake Library: what do users think?

Al: It's a pretty good library but the book selection is small. The CD collection is well-curated: I checked out Nas, DJ Shadow, Fleet Foxes, and Aaron Frazer.

Joel Abrahamson: Wide open spaces for computer work or studying, plus a children's reading and play area, recently revamped. If you don't have a computer, check out time from the helpful librarians. Check out the famous literary words emblazoned on the Lake Street windows. The atmosphere is quiet. These days printing and scanning are free!

Grant Dustin Olson: Good — but conservative

Preston Norton: Great people professional services

Zack Szyman: It is a nice building with good selection through the Hennepin County Library.

Ray Ji: Beautiful library with great, well-lit spaces for studying. Highly recommend!

Kaiser Neverman: I've gotten down a dirty on some papers here. Great for long procrastinated grinds. Just don't forget ear buds it's dangerously quiet in here, if someone is shuffling across the room you'll hear it. Also looks pretty sick inside. Just don't snack or play your earbuds too loud, that's just messed up.

Aeryn “Percival” McVay: This building has a normal basement, a creepy basement, and a creepier basement, and I can't think of anything better to have in a university building. In all seriousness, it's a good study space with gender neutral bathrooms. Nice building.

cairo shetka: Tons of study space and all kinds cool journals go read in paper form.

Hazrat Umar: Quiet environment
