Chad runs a great store and caters to all musical levels, beginner to professional. His knowledge is expansive and he helped me find the perfect amp for my needs. Great to support a local store in Uptown.

Chad has been running this store for almost 30 years and he knows his art! He's a no nonsense type of guy, who I get but some don't because he cuts through all the BS that goes with the music industry, and will be honest about the fact that he needs to make a dollar too, in order to keep the doors open on his shop, that he loves! Anyway, he's always been fair with me, and even will throw you some great wisdom as far as buying gear, if you pay him the respect he deserves! Lastly he always has some sweet, old beautiful vintage guitars available for purchase, but dont expect to get them for free, as he knows the real market! Highly recommended!

I bought some of my favorite gear at Encore over the years. Chad is always full of helpful insight that you don't often get other places and he spends as much time with you as you need to understand the situation. I also have my amps repaired there and it's super reasonable. There is so much cool gear there go check it out.
